Gauntlet with Shield and Coat of Arms

Two unique gauntlets: the first is holding a shield decorated with your coat of arms/family crest; the second is for those with a Scottish ancestry holds a targe with the clan tartan and clan badge.

The base is mahogany veneered wood and an inscription, usually your surname although there is room for 3 words.

The gauntlet is caste from resin and is hand-painted. It is decorated with a wolf's head, laurel leaves and doves. The wolf's head is decorated in gold leaf, and the doves in silver leaf.

The gauntlet is 8 inches (20cm) tall.

The Shield

The shield is metal with wood on the back, and is decorated using sublimation, a method of printing onto metal. This method means we can offer both complex and simple coats of arms at the same price. The shield is 5 inches high and 3 inches wide.

The Targe

The targe is made of wood and is covered in the relevant Scottish tartan with the clan badge in the centre. The wooden targe has a metal rim which is studded. The targe is 5 inches in diameter.

Each gauntlet is made to order. There is an inscription placed on the base. Normally we use the surname but there is room for 3 words.
